I have recently moved to the DC area and I am looking for opportunities for part time work which allows me to continue to engage in teaching and learning activities. I have been a one-on-one tutor for over five years, and I have had the chance to work with several students over multiple years, which I loved because I had the chance to see them grow. I believe in cultivating a tutoring environment where students feel safe and comfortable and are willing to try, even if it means they make a mistake, since that is where learning happens.
