Experience
No previous tutoring experience, but extensive experience counseling clients and interpreting complex concepts. SAT (2003)---1020 LSAT (2008)--145 I feel a strong desire to help people succeed academically because I have had the privilege to attend and finish graduate school. Relevant courses that I have taken include Expository Writing 1 and Expository Writing 2 (where I received an A). In my major itself, I was exposed to different styles of writing, including the inverted pyramid, press release writing, and opinion. My minor in History involved extensive writing and analysis of arguments, but creating viable thesis statements in the process. In law school, I took Research & Writing and Advanced Writing, which involved legal research, analysis, with proper citations. Finally, I have experience in public speaking from moot court, mock trial, and the alternative dispute resolution clinic.
