I have tutored with Cardinal Scholars since 2014 and currently work for the U.S. Department of State as a Planning Analyst. Other work experience includes working with AmeriCorps, the Peace Corps, and agencies such as Veteran Affairs, Institute for Civic Engagement, and a Montessori School. I like tutoring because it is a both a challenge and journey for the student and me alike. I love the outdoors - I hike, camp, backpack, and run frequently! I also love traveling. I have journeyed in the Himalayas, the Middle East, Central America, and West Africa. Additionally, I like to read (mostly nonfiction, but enjoy the occasional classic fiction) and write. Last but not least, I am an avid watcher of cinematic shows and films, and going to musical concerts.
