Looking for intuitive tutor with common sense? :) You are on the right place! :) My name is Martina, come from the Czech Republic and I am a bachelor in English Language and Literature. I obtained this degree at Masaryk University in Brno in year 2014 and since then I am still studying... Now I am rather a homeschooler as I feel very positive about self-directed learning based on own life values and inner motivations but I also keep updated about new trends in education, love that big MOOC courses opening highly professional education to everybody who has interest and connection to the internet ;)
Experience
I have experience in English language teaching for high school and university students (up to intermediate level), tutorings in humanity's based subjects for high school students (such as Czech language, Sociology, Psychology, English history and literature, ...). I am very interested in alternative education such as Montessori, Waldorf, democratic schools so I believe I will fit to students that need emphatic attitude and gentle support respecting their own wisdom. :) I can help with various introductory bachelor level subjects connected to language studies such as: Morphology, Syntax, Functional Syntax, Pragmatics, Sociolinguistics (my final thesis from this branch of study) And other introductory level courses, e.g.: Philosophy (very interesting for me since my 14teens) :) And I also concentrate on life skills like relaxation, effective learning and similar things :) My students love my friendly emphatic approach and easily explained subject content which I try to relate to the world of the students to allow them explore the content on their own. I am very intuitive person and love leisurely walks in nature, countryside, dancing, listening to jazz music, drawing and arts generally... also travelling, exploring new places and visiting nice corners of the Europe now... oh, not to forget relaxing in cafés :) ... lots of things, I am a life enthusiast and love to learn various things about our brain, psyche and how to improve our lives to feel better :)
