I am a tutor with extensive experience studying and teaching math and science. I graduated from the Polytechnic Institute of New York with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. I also completed a master's degree in chemical engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I have experience tutoring students in a wide range of math and science related subjects, including algebra, calculus, differential equations, geometry, pre-calculus, trigonometry, multivariable calculus, arithmetic, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, engineering, physics, English, and chemical and biomolecular engineering. I am also able to help students prepare for standardized tests. My tutoring experience stems from tutoring students in math and science for a non-profit organization. Currently, I am tutoring a variety of GRE subjects, including physics, chemistry, engineering, and algebra. I enjoy tutoring GRE subjects because learning strategies for taking the test can be even more important than the actual material. I have a very interactive teaching style. My goal is to inspire my students to find the solutions that work best for them rather than just accepting the way I do things as the best way. I also like to create an environment where the tutoring sessions involve an exchange of ideas. In my free time, I like to cook, garden, run, play tennis, and meditate.
