I started tutoring in college, assisting students in high school level with test preparation for the Regents as well as the ACT and SAT. I attended Touro College for my bachelor's degree in history, and I'm now attending Fordham University to earn my doctoral degree in history, where I also teach on a part-time basis. I really enjoy teaching and helping students develop the skills they need to be successful. I've put together a system to help students improve their writing skills, analytical thinking skills, and reading comprehension, which help students improve their grades, but understand subjects, and increased test scores. I'm truly invested in the success of my students, and I will do whatever I can to help my students succeed. I can tutor reading, history, elementary school math, writing, essays, adult literacy, literature, study skills and organization, grammar, and test preparation for exams like the ACT, SAT, GRE, CLEP, and others. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing my bike, and getting outdoors in nature. When I work with students, I figure out the learning style and needs of my students and adjust my approach so that I helping them learn in the most effective way possible.
