Education

Hi! I am a Stanford University resident who is passionate about teaching others. I have taken many courses in both the sciences and humanities and have several years of tutoring experience with many levels of students. I am an honors graduate of UC Berkeley class of 2013. I double-majored in Molecular & Cell Biology (with an emphasis in neurobiology) and Psychology. I also have a medical degree from UC Davis and am currently completing a residency at Stanford University in Rehabilitation Medicine.

Experience

Since graduating from university I have gotten the chance to tutor a variety of students in a number of different subjects, especially chemistry, biology, and Spanish. I love helping students learn, no matter what the course and I want to utilize my flexible schedule to tutor more students! I am proficient in Spanish and have taken courses for several years, including at the college level. I have also taken college & med-level math courses, English courses, chemistry courses, and several biology subject courses (especially in the field of neuroscience and genetics). I have a solid background in the biological sciences and have worked for several years in a neurogenetics laboratory. If you need tutoring in a subject that is not listed on my preferred courses, feel free to send me an email, and I may still be able to help you. Depending on your individual needs, I can provide supplementary practice materials and worksheets for our sessions or we can set up online sessions for more flexibility.
