Education

Doctor of Medicine - Flinders University Past International Baccalaureate (IB) student I am currently a second year postgraduate medical student at Flinders University, having completed the undergraduate Bachelor of Clinical Sciences in 2015. I completed my undergraduate degree with a GPA of 6.86, and also obtained the Clinical Sciences Prize for the top grades in my cohort. Prior to university, I completed the IB in 2013 obtaining a 44/45, and obtained 10A*s in my GCSEs growing up in England.

Experience

I have always had a passion for sharing my learning experiences with other people, and encouraging them to work to the best of their abilities. I took the IB over the course of 2012-13 and came out with a score of 44/45. I obtained 7s in HL Chemistry, HL Biology, SL Spanish, SL Mathematics and SL Environmental Systems and Societies, and a 6 in HL English Language and Literature. Throughout the course of the IB I tutored fellow year 11 and 12s, and have also had experience tutoring younger students in mathematics, spanish and chemistry. I am a firm believer in the principles of the IB, and really embraced the opportunities it gave me, and hope to be able to share this with any fellow students. I won the Long Tan Leadership and Achievement Award in 2013. For the past 2 years I have been a Residential Tutor in college, providing academic and pastoral care for fellow university students.

Hobbies

My hobbies are quite varied, ranging from sporting activities, to musical ones. I am a singer, and have taught myself to play guitar. I am a keen sportswoman playing a number of sports from Netball, Hockey, AFL and Soccer. So when I'm not studying you can either find me out on a field kicking a ball, or at home playing guitar and drinking a much needed cup of tea.
