I ran the writing lab for 2 years at Bradley University. I have been tutoring for 12 years, ranging from grade school students to graduate students in college. I really enjoy working one-on-one with all sorts of students to help them realize their potential and not just help with a specific assignment, but also leave the student with an everlasting lesson to help them in the future of their schooling. Besides English and Literature classes, I took journalism, history, creative writing, and sociology courses throughout college. I have also taken library science courses, where I deeply enjoyed researching an array of subjects and compiling essays with multiple sources.

Hobbies
I can not get enough of words! I love reading, I love writing, I love listening to podcasts, and watching documentaries. My favorite books are Lord of the Flies, and Almanac of the Dead. I'm always reading at least one book, usually two. I like to write short stories and poetry, and dabble with writing a book. I also enjoy researching worldly topics, and staying up to date on happenings in the world, and in Chicago. I like everything about storytelling, and enjoy The Moth and This American Life podcasts. I love experiencing Chicago and exploring new areas, restaurants, parks, and the history of Chicago. I enjoy checking out live music and trying new things throughout the city.
