Experience
My love for learning has played a central role in my life from a young age. As I grew up, I started to find the same satisfaction in spreading my knowledge, and instilling that same desire to learn in other people. This led me to pursue tutoring in high school at Kumon Learning Center, where I gained experience with children of all ages and realized teaching was the perfect fit. When I left for college, I began tutoring whenever I was given the opportunity, whether it be for a friend or through word of mouth. Later, I started working at a tutoring academy, tutoring dozens of students in all grades. I also worked at the Plangere Writing Center at Rutgers University as a writing tutor for college students. This has given me almost four years of experience in tutoring, for all ages in various subjects. My specialty is mastering the SAT, in which I scored in the 99th percentile with a perfect score in the Writing section. English is my other focus- as an English major at Rutgers University, I have experience in various forms of writing, literature, and reading comprehension, as well as spelling, vocabulary, and grammar. I am comfortable tutoring English to students elementary school, middle school, and high school.

Hobbies
As far as academics is concerned, I'm a senior at Rutgers University, majoring in English with minors in Psychology and Biology. I'm pursuing a career in medicine, but in my year off, I plan on attending graduate school, gaining experience through research and volunteering, but above all, discovering myself and growing as a person. Outside the classroom, I'm someone who has an almost unhealthy obsession with reading, writing, and watching nearly every TV show you can imagine. If I could pick three of my favorite things, it would be unexpected naps, food, and Harry Potter. I'm deeply involved with a charitable organization called Thaakat- which focuses on providing for two schools and a maternity center we've opened in various countries- serving as an executive board member on both the campus chapter and the National board. My life story is still very much in the works, but I'm confident that it's one I'll be able to write a novel about a few years down the road.
