I earned my undergraduate degree in physics from Erskine College and my Ph.D. in astrophysics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Experience
I have extensive instructional experience teaching and tutoring in the fields of physics and astronomy. I served as an astronomy demonstrator at Macquarie University and as a physics tutor at the University of New South Wales. I also designed and ran astronomy and physics summer programs for gifted and talented high school students. I've lectured in astronomy at Erskine College and served on the University of New South Wales Human Research Ethics Community. I currently tutor undergraduate and graduate students in my areas of expertise, the fields of astronomy and physics. Some of the specific courses I offer tutoring for include Newtonian mechanics, quantum theory, quantum physics, all levels of calculus and algebra, astrophysics, geometry, and astronomy. I also tutor high school students in the field of mathematics.
