In June 200, I graduated high school from St. Vincent's Academy in Newark, New jersey with a 3.0 GPA. In 2007, I was accepted into Howard University in Washington, majoring Psychology and minoring in Art. I took a few psychology courses dealing with child and adolescent growth and development. I took the SATs in 2006 and my score are: CR 480, Math 440, Writing 410. I possess more than 2+ years of progressive experience in the educational field. My professional history includes positions such as a teacher’s assistant at Capital City PCS, a before and after care teacher (EDP) at E.L. Haynes PCS as well as volunteer work at Community Day. In addition to my experience I have taken the paraprofessional exam, passing with a score of 472 out of 480. I can make the difference of academic success for many students. Having a tutor can mean that a student has a stronger grasp of the course material and may receive a better grade.

Hobbies

I have had an eye for art since I was a little girl. Always having a colored pencil in my hand and an art pad in my bag, I have been drawing and creating since I was four. Since my years at Howard, I have worked with E.L. Haynes Public Charter School, helping to stage several performances with my skill in technical theater, from set design to music and costuming. I have also lead several art focused and technical theater focused classes for Haynes students. I am not only an artist, I am an athlete as well. I enjoy playing any sport thrown at me, however, my favorite sport and the sport I played for 10 years is basketball. I am an open-minded person. adapt to anything and soak it all in. I love to learn new things to help with my persona growth.
