I am currently a doctoral student in the midst of writing my dissertation. My degree will be an Ed.D in Organizational Leadership in Behavioral Health. I graduated from Liberty University with a Masters of Art in Human Services-Marriage and Family Studies. I have over 60 credits in counseling.
Experience
I am a student with learning curves and I have been very fortunate to have my own mentors and tutors who have shared their wisdom, patience and strategies for me to pave my way to success! I was told as a young girl that I would never be able to enroll in college due to my learning curves. I have a 3.7 gpa. Isaac Newton once said, "If I've seen farther than other men, its because I've stood on the shoulders of giants! I have quite a few giants of my own.Now its my turn to be the giant! I was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa in 2004. I am also the CEO/Founder of The Power Plan, Inc. Throughout my experiences I have learned a great deal that I can't wait to share with you. Hobbies
I am an outgoing, upbeat person. I love camping, fishing and roasting marshmallows over a bonfire! I also enjoy listening to music with my husband and making jewelry. I love to read! I am currently reading Nick Vujicic's book, "Unstoppable" as well as a few books by John Maxwell. If you fill your brain and soul with positive material, you are much more likely to become successful because you will have the necessary strong, determination and resilience to succeed ( especially in the occurrence of struggles and challenges.) You will see that they will just make you that much stronger if you have a good , "can-do" attitude!
