My tutoring background is quite varied; I have been a peer tutor in elementary, middle and high school, I was a student mentor for a college independent writing course, I have been an ESL tutor both here in the US and abroad, and for nearly 4 years, I have worked at Madison Area Technical College as an academic tutor. Through my work at MATC, I have been certified by the College Learning and Reading Association (CLRA). Currently, I am involved in a distance tutoring program, working with students studying Arabic. I am also an experienced language and writing instructor (ESL, French, Academic Writing).
