I have a BA in English/Elementary Education from the College of Mount Saint Vincent, Riverdale, NY; an MS in Special Education,Reading and Language Arts from Long Island University, Greenvale, NY. I also have permanent New York State teaching certification for N-6, Elementary Education, Special Education, and Reading

Experience

I have 40 years of teaching and tutoring experience for children with special needs which includes: ADD/ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia. I also tutor any student who needs just needs a little boost academically. Their ages range from 2 years to college age. I want to be a tutor because I am very dedicated to making students lives easier and more enjoyable in school and social settings.

I am very patient, and try to make learning fun. I never judge a student. My goal is to make their lives better. I enjoy reading and traveling. I crochet blankets which I donate to children's hospitals, as well as nursing homes.
