I love teaching, and my passion only grows when I'm not actively educating. I like tutoring because of the opportunity to work individually with students to focus on their needs and help them work through any learning obstacles. I enjoy the challenge of coming up with creative ways to explain topics students find difficult. I also enjoy tutoring because I get to connect with my students, allowing me to meet more people and to become invested in their success, both academically and in life. I'm looking forward to helping students with elementary and middle school level math, writing, phonics, English grammar and syntax, reading, and test preparation for assessment exams such as the ISEE and STAAR. When I have free time, I enjoy playing sports and other outdoor activities.
