My MFA is in Creative Writing from NYU. At NYU I taught Creative Writing in poetry and fiction. Currently, I am an essay assistant and private tutor. I help high school students write their personal essays for college. I also assist adult students in English courses, brainstorm and organize their college research papers. I also work one on one with a poetry and fiction student, where we study literary elements and workshop her own personal work. While living in Korea, I earned over 4 years experience teaching ESL in elementary and middle school classrooms. I like tutoring because working one on one with someone, I can customize the teaching method and pace for them.
