I went to California University of Pennsylvania and I graduated in 2013 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Secondary Education, with a concentration in Social Studies. While at Cal U I was part of multiple honors societies, student organizations, member of the Dean's List and was a two time Presidential Scholar. I graduated with a major GPA of 3.86. After graduation, I moved to Florida to teach for two years and now I am pursuing my Masters degree. I am attending Point Park University as a full time graduate student pursuing a degree in Leadership. I will graduate from Point Park in August of 2016. I think that I would make the perfect tutor because my schedule allows for some flexibility, however, I also meet the strict qualifications that you should expect a tutor to possess!
Experience
I have been a full time high school teacher for the past two years in Florida. While there I taught multiple subjects such as Psychology I, Psychology II, English 9, English 10, ESOL English, US History and AP US History. While I majored in Social Studies Education, I am fully certified to teach English and Social Studies in Pennsylvania. However, in addition to these subjects and subdivisions of them, I feel qualified, willing and able to provide tutoring services in a plethora of other areas! I want to be a tutor because I am currently pursuing my Masters degree and unfortunately do not have enough time to pursue a full time teaching job. However, I want to ensure all students are able to reach their full potential and capabilities. I want to work with you to put you on the path to success.

Hobbies
I am twenty-five years old, recently engaged and pursuing a Masters Degree - which means I don't have a TON of free time for hobbies! However, when I do have some free time I constantly find myself at sporting events (GO PENS!), supporting Pittsburgh all around, going to see the newest movies, going bowling and just having a good time with my friends and family! I am so glad to be back in Pittsburgh, and not across the country from loved ones, as I am very family oriented and enjoy spending time with them. As I shared before, one of my newest hobbies is wedding planning as well! There's always something new to be accomplished, something new to learn, somewhere foreign to travel - and I hope I find the time, money and resources to afford me all of the opportunities I seek in life!
