Education

As a self-proclaimed grammar nerd, I love everything about language. I enjoy teaching grammar, vocabulary, reading, and writing in both English and German. I am a native speaker of English and have near-native fluency in German. My bachelor's degree (GPA 3.56) is in German language and literature, while my master's degree (GPA 4.0) focused on teaching ESL and German. I'm currently working on a PhD in International Education at George Mason University.

Experience

I've worked with students from pre-school age all the way to older adults, and love seeing them make progress. As a faculty member at universities, I helped students prepare for exams including the TOEFL, IELTS, and GRE, and have also done SAT tutoring for the reading and writing sections. I have also taught conversational English and German as well as math for the GED exam and have helped students craft outstanding university application essays.
