Private tutor in Denver, CO
Education
I graduated from Colorado State University in 2013, double-majoring and earning a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Marketing. I graduated summa cum laude with honors and a 3.95 GPA. In high school I took several AP classes, including AP Spanish Language and AP Spanish Literature and Cultures, and graduated at the top of my class.
Experience
Certified in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Tutored and taught English. ACT score 33. I am passionate about the Spanish language and the importance of education. I understand how hard it can be to learn a second language and I love helping other people figure it out on their own. During my college career, I studied abroad in Spain and Chile. After I graduated, I earned a certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and moved independently to Nicaragua, where I lived for one year, teaching English and working with US high school students. I wish I could still be a student! I am a dedicated learner and I believe education is super important. I have worked with children, high school students, and adults, and I think you'll find that I am a very relatable person. Languages are very intriguing to me and it fascinates me how two different languages can vary so much - that's what makes it so confusing. I have a lot of experience studying and learning Spanish, and I'm dedicated to helping you learn in a way that makes sense to you since we all have individual learning styles.
