Elizabeth S.
Private tutor in Melbourne, Australia
Education
I hold a Ph.D. in Human Geography from Aberystwyth University. I have also undertaken a postdoc in Human Geography at Aberystwyth University and the University of Glasgow.
Experience
I have a breadth of teaching experience in a higher education setting and would like to put these skills to use by helping students develop their writing and critical thinking skills to obtain the best grades they can. I have experience working with dyslexic students. I tutored first-year university students in Human Geography, as well as led lectures and assessments on 2nd Human Geography modules. I also conducted seminars for students pursuing their masters. While I specialize in Feminist Geography and Social and Cultural Geography, my research and writing have been interdisciplinary, which means I have also engaged with Anthropology and the humanities more broadly. I am an experienced writer who has published in several venues, including three book chapters, one edited book, nine academic papers, and nine reviews.
