Experience

I have tutored high school students for more than 5 years and got my start at Princeton Review. The majority of experience is in test preparation, namely for the SAT and ACT. However, I have also tutored students to prepare for the SSAT, SHSAT, and SAT Math IIC, in addition to providing general homework assistance and college applications editing and advice. After graduating from Columbia, I worked for two years as a college access counselor in Harlem at a public 6-12 school. Because French has always been a passion of mine, I taught French in their after school program. Now I currently work at a education policy research non-profit as a Research Analyst. My specialities are quantitative and qualitative research methods and policy analysis. I am a Research Analyst at Research for Action, an education policy research organization based in Philadelphia. I'm very passionate about education issues, including addressing the racial and economic achievement gap and access to college and other postsecondary opportunities.
