Experience
I have had the privilege of teaching various levels of physics and chemistry for the past six years. This experience has helped me grow, both as an educator and as a person. I love watching my students gain confidence after grasping a concept they had struggled with previously. As a student, I scored in the 99th percentile on the ACT and 93rd percentile on the SAT. I also hold two advanced degrees in education. These accomplishments have allowed me to tutor students of all abilities and personalities with confidence. I have helped low, middle, and high-achieving students to improve their test scores and reach their full potential on the ACT and SAT. When I begin working with a student, I assess his or her strengths and weaknesses, goals, and unique learning style. I then adapt my teaching style to fit with the academic goals and personality of my students, as I believe that everyone learns in their own unique way.
