Education

I have a Ph.D. in Microbiology from Monash University and a Bachelor of Science with First-Class Honors in Biotechnology from the same university as well. I also scored HD in my mathematics and biology units during my undergraduate study. I have a proven track record of several publications over the course of my doctorate.

Experience

While in Malaysia, I volunteered as a tutor for underprivileged children, which was the most rewarding experience I have ever had. I have been tutoring high school and undergraduate students for over five years, specifically in the areas of science and Maths. Maths and science have always been my forte, and my passion is to impart the knowledge I hold to those that struggle with it. My educational background is in these areas, and I excel at them. I was formerly a tutor at Monash University for three years teaching Microbiology and Medical Microbiology to undergraduate students.

Hobbies

My interests vary from painting to jogging. I love the art of creating, be it pottery or poetry. When I'm not covered with paint, I am engrossed in a good book. Reading is the best mode of 'travel' to anywhere at any given time. On top of all these interests, my underlying passion is the need to help others. I voluntarily taught underprivileged children when I was back in Malaysia, and that by far is the most rewarding 'hobby' I have done.
