Experience
At UC Irvine, I was a teaching assistant in the mathematics department for Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Math for Economists (mix of Linear Algebra and Multivariable Calculus), Ordinary Differential Equations, and Intro to Abstract Math (Proofs). I have privately tutored several students in Calculus (1, 2, and 3), differential equations, probability, and mathematical statistics. In high school, I scored a 5 on the AP Calculus BC exam. I've taken a plethora of mathematics courses throughout my two completed degrees ranging from proof-based math courses like abstract algebra and real analysis to more applied courses like math for finance, numerical analysis, and probability, among others. I recently completed an internship at a financial technology startup that uses artificial intelligence to predict stock prices. I researched and developed alternative forecasting methods. Prior to my masters degree at UC Irvine, I worked as an actuarial analyst in New York in pension consulting during which I passed the first two actuarial exams (Probability and Financial Mathematics). I'm constantly learning and teaching myself new topics. I've recently been self-studying partial differential equations and machine learning/data science.

Hobbies
I'm a big basketball fan (especially for the Philadelphia 76ers!) but also sports fan in general. I play fantasty football and hope to use my statistics skills to my advantage this year. Aside from studying math and statistics for fun, I enjoy reading about history, sociology, and psychology. I also work out and play sports.
